The Man in the Moon and the Bear in the Sky

As an Easter special, professional storyteller Michael O'Leary will be weaving stories of the Moon and celestial beasts. A Lantern Parade and a bus tour will guide you around the city, to events that include spooky encounters at New Theatre Royal and City Museum, unique light shows at the King’s Theatre and Southsea Castle. Story Telling for young ones at the City Library, some bright new young artists at Art Space and a family craft day at Gunwharf Quays. From 3.00pm Story telling for young ones led by Michael O’Leary. 5.00pm.

Young people can gather up Lanterns made by Dot To Dot and join a parade around the Guildhall Square The New Theatre Royal. ‘’Taking Time’’ 4.00pm/5.00pm/6.00pm. A strange and spooky tour of the theatre’s stairs, passages and hidden corners. What’s in this cupboard? Who’s this coming down the stairs? What’s behind there? Dare you open the door?
